In the second instalment of our staff profiles, it’s time to say hello to Sue Ritchie, our Operations Manager.
After nearly 30 years in the water industry, Sue originally came to us for advice on her pension and retirement plans as she was re-locating to the North East with her husband from Yorkshire. After some initial discussions about her previous career, we asked Sue to join us in a part-time role at our office in Alnwick. We quickly realised Sue’s experience was a great asset to our Sage Wealth Management, so we asked her to take on the role of Operations Manager to help us move forward with our business goals.
Spending her first few months working with us during a pandemic has thrown up its challenges, but it’s made Sue’s role of future-proofing our business and services, even more important.
Sue incorporates working with our people, our processes, and our systems to make sure we’re running as efficiently and effectively as possible. She looks at everything we do, how we do it, when we do it and why we do it. She’s focussed on seeing what works well and what changes we need to make so that our business is strong, agile and flexible enough to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of our existing and future clients.
